a critical wonder

I suppose stacking paper is not significant unless you have a good amount of paper, because it is very thin. But think about this, wouldn't laying out ten sheets of paper side by side take up much more space than stacking ten sheets? And observing this, would I take from it that spreading things out is more efficient because it consumes more, or is stacking things more efficient because it allows room for much more consuming? The too familiar answer: IT DEPENDS.
