I saw her. I saw her sneak away from the clarity and reality. She liked to be where there were old bones and rubbish, and enjoy that musty smell. She thought to herself that it was not dangerous, only youthful and rustic. The ruins made her feel at home. But as soon as someone looked that way, searching for something recoverable, she pretended she did not belong there, and waltzed back into the present day business. I found what I was looking for! She would lie, and hold the air around her...looking back longingly to that place, that haunting place that never haunted her.
